The second part of the plan is the field service lightning managed package. Once you have installed the managed package, the dispatchers are going to be able to do a few things. The first thing is that they can optimize the schedule of the company according to the scheduling policies of the company. The second thing is they should be able to get a bird’s eye view of the appointment lists, a resource availability chart, scheduling actions, and interactive map of the dispatcher console. The third thing is that can integrate and maintain all of the scheduling policies, the sharing tools, global actions, and the optimization rules within the administration app.
Field Service Lightning Mobile App
The last part of the plan is the field service lightning mobile app. This is something that the company is going to be able to get for free. There are also several things that the mobile workers are going to do within the app. The first thing is that they will be able to view the schedule of their appointments. The second thing is that they can use the data from the salesforce to check on the work orders, reach all of their contacts, and verify the addresses of their customers. The third thing is to create and edit all of the records so that they can log their work and create the follow-up appointments with the clients.
The fourth thing is to use the Chatter in order to collaborate with other mobile workers, managers, and dispatchers. The fifth thing is to track all of their updates with the push notifications. The sixth thing is to view the articles in Knowledge that allows them to complete the more tricky tasks of the business. The last thing is they can track the van stock and the inventory that is consumed in order to complete all of their jobs.
